One-to-one lessons

Private Online Spanish Lessons Tailored to You

Private Spanish lessons built around your level, your goals and your schedule. No group pace, no fixed syllabus: every lesson is prepared for you.

In a private lesson you speak for most of the hour. That is exactly what is missing for most people learning Spanish online: someone who listens, corrects at the right moment and explains why something works the way it does, instead of moving on to the next unit.

I am Cecilia Mateo, a native Spanish teacher living in Spain. I have taught adults from many different countries for over ten years and I am an accredited DELE examiner. Whether you are starting from scratch or reactivating Spanish you learned years ago, we begin exactly where you are.

What you will achieve

A plan of your own

We define your goal — travel, work, family, moving to Spain or an exam — and shape the lessons around it.

Faster progress

The whole lesson is yours. You speak more in one session than in several group classes.

Corrections as you go

I correct you while you speak without breaking your flow, and track recurring mistakes for later lessons.

Hours that fit your life

We agree on a day and time across time zones, and you can reschedule up to 24 hours before.

Who these lessons are for

  • Complete beginners who want solid foundations rather than scattered app vocabulary.
  • Intermediate learners who have been stuck at the same level for months.
  • Professionals who need Spanish for work, clients or colleagues.
  • People with Spanish-speaking family or partners.
  • Anyone who wants structure and accountability instead of studying alone.

  • Grammar when it gets in your way, explained with examples and real practice.
  • Vocabulary for your life: work, family, travel, admin, hobbies.
  • Pronunciation and intonation so people understand you first time.
  • Listening with authentic audio from Spain and Latin America.
  • Writing when your goals call for it: emails, messages, applications.
